Attention remote deposit check scanner users:

Catalyst is aware of an ongoing issue affecting TranzCapture users with Canon scanners; other brands/models may also be affected.

A Windows 11 update, labeled as "24H2," is causing USB devices to stop being recognized by the PC, thus making check scanning nonfunctional. Canon USA has an alert published here: To Users of the imageFORMULA CR-Series Check Scanners | Canon U.S.A., Inc.

Current recommendations from both Microsoft and Canon are to consider blocking updates of the 24H2 version for Windows 11 or, if the update was already applied, roll back the update until Microsoft can provide a verified fix.
